Define quality requirements for the exact product
A catalog photo or indicative specification does not establish that a model meets your market's requirements. Quality criteria, tests and inspection evidence belong in the project scope for the selected SKU.
Include these details in your brief
- The exact model or reference product and its intended use
- Destination market and any buyer or retailer standard
- Materials, load, dimension or performance requirements that must be verified
- Required test reports, inspection evidence and packaging checks
- The sample or approved specification to use as the acceptance reference
What the project review should establish
For each request, ask which production party is proposed, which documents apply to the exact model, whether testing or inspection can be arranged, who is responsible for it and how acceptance will be documented. Availability and cost are confirmed with the project quote.
We do not apply a single certification or inspection claim to every catalog product. If a requirement is essential, include it in your enquiry before relying on the model for a purchase decision.
